Yey! Big thanks to everyone for the welcome. Now our nook is warming up. 
It seems I might have confused readers with my name. Although I’d say “Iam” is cute, it’s actually “Lam” with the ‘L’ written in the lower case. Some friends have kidded me with Lam-chop and stuff like that, and taking on that line of amusement, I thought, hey, why not “Lam’s take”? (lamb steak… gets? hehehe.)
Anyway, today was nothing out of the ordinary– laundry, marketing, hang around with neighbours for a bit, and watch the boys drown in their grog as the sun went down. It did feel like a lot was accomplished, but hmm, I just wish there was a third day to this weekend.

Hehehe… Lam’s Take… that’s clever. Mind you, I’ve never seen a lamb steak, and I work in a meat shop… There’s lamb chops, mince, legs and racks of, but no steaks. :S
My weekend was great. Labor Party meeting on Friday night, saw 28 Days Later with my boyfriend on Saturday (a great movie, by the way), and then worked all Sunday, which wasn’t so bad because I got a visit from Theshadowmaster, my parents and my aunt, and tomorrow I’m off to a conference! Yay!

OOps, I stand corrected…..Lam. Lam it is. My weekend was pretty ordinary. Probably cos the cold factor made me do a double take, I nearly went into hibernation mode. Housework, housework housework. And visiting the mother inlaw down the penninsula ( tried to spot a whale from the car……..no good!) Just watched 60 minutes……..still trying to absorb the segment on submissive wives……..wooh !!
Wow wini, doing a double take with the cold factor, goodness, if i get a single take of the cold factor i am a happy husky. And then, if not to make me even more envious, i am sposed to be going whale watching with the shadow master…

Hear hear to tours. I had lamb steak last night. T’was meat from the supermarket, had a label: “lamb steak” - so it must be real.
Hmmm, cool, thanks Big Fella, hopefully now I can try lamb steaks. My family rarely buys meat from the supermarket, that’s probably why I haven’t seen them.
